I have two numbers but I'm trying to find what thread and pitch they are.

ES62L
ES140R

they want $260 for the kit and if I can find the thread I can just get some DOM and some weld in bungs.

I can look up specs for you tomorrow if that will do you any good.

sure any help will work, Jeep is stuck at work til i can fix the track bar and steering links.
track bar and pitman joint both have over an 1" of play.

tre and dle are normally 7/8 18, there are a few places that sell inserts or you can get the taps for under 100

Couldnt find anything, you have to be a FMeConnect. Best bet is to go to the local parts store and have them call Moog, or if they are good they will have a catalog with the specs.

I know the MOOG TRE's on my burb are 1"-12

I have 1" and 7/8" on the burb but these are a jeep...
my stock cherokee ones are actually metric but these are the left and right replacements to get rid of the "Y" steering and goes to a regular tieroad and drag link set ups.

Jeremy, post up over at Raven, there is a lot of jeeps over there that would know

after what seams like 100 sites it is 11/16"- 18 thread... hard to find threaded inserts for that.

I just took a look in the moog book and verified what you already found out. They are 11/16" x 18. If you need any other specifics about them let me know and i can get it for you.

does your source list the taper? I want to make sure the 2222L (or 2221, 2323) have the same taper as the es140 and the es62.

Pretty rare that the book will list the actual taper. What's more common is that it will list the min & max diameters of the taper, and if you're lucky it'll list the distance btwn them.

i think those are three of the measurements in the book. This is one of the VERY few moments I wish I was still behind the counter

Your right .687-18 thread. If you need the whole spec page I can make a copy and post it or email it to you tomorrow.

Ok, i did a little research for you.

The ES62L is an 11/16" x 18 left hand thread and has a small diameter taper of .543", a large diameter taper of .626", with .600" distance between the tapers and the TRE is 3.220" in length.

The ES2222L is an M20-1.5 left hand threads and has a small diameter taper of .554", a large diameter taper of .626", with .550" between the tapers and the TRE is 4.33" in length.

The ES2221L is an 11/16" x 18 left hand thread and has a small diameter taper of .543", a large diameter taper of .626", with .660" between the tapers and the TRE is 4.410" in length.

The ES2323S is a sleeve with M22-1.5 left hand threads and is 4.500" in length.

thanks man, the odd ball ones were off a wrangle I was looking at that has the right style of steering i was looking at doing on my cherokee. looks like cj ends and some sleeved tube.
