Is there something desirable about this 91 manual trans parting?

The shifter knob only shows 1-2-3-4-R. It is possible they updated the shift lever on the SM465 that year. A half ton 5 spd that year would be a Getchrag I believe.
 
I've read they did use the 465 for the first couple/three years of that body style. Iirc it's the version with the aluminum top cover and the shifter is moved slightly forward of the position we're used to. I'm sure it'd still be 32 spline but no idea on the tailshaft length (and compatibility with right hand t-cases).
 
aluminum top slighty better shifting 465 cover . and if I recall its moved back from out style for the tower hole .

and he has the HIGH horsepower air filter system . . . :whistle:
