Background info- I bought my 84 K5 in 1990, and it was a member of the family for 17 years until it found a new home just before we moved from Canmore to Cochrane.

My 14 year old daughter(who came home from the hospital in the back of the 'ol K5) made me promise her that we'd buy another Blazer when our rec property in BC sold. I kind of agreed, and well, the deal closed about 2 weeks ago. Long story short, it looks like I'm in once again in the market for a K5, 20 years later...........

Soooooo.........what are the chances of finding a rust free unmolested 1989-91 K5 Silverado???? I'm talking a reasonably mint rig that hasn't been modded or messed with. I know it's a long shot, but somebody, somewhere must have a line on a rig that fits my needs.

I'd be willing to pay a finder's fee for the right Blazer, because I don't think I'm gonna hear the end of it until one is sitting in the driveway.

paul, there's one for sale here locally with stupid low miles, but it's lifted on 35s i think. they were asking like 17k i think, but it was supposedly like 48k original miles... i can get pics and more info monday if it interests you

What kind of shape is it in overall? Other than the lift, is it stock? Any rust or obvious body defects? Pics would be great, but I'm out of town until next Thursday, so don't break your back on my behalf......
