is this a former military blazer?

Yeah, actually reasonably common to find civi K5's with the 6.2.

Yeah, some old focker came in my dad's store the other day, with a 6.2 blazer, I want it... only one I've seen in person actually... and I'm willing to pry it from his cold dead fingers, try me old man...

My uncle has one in Dallas. I might try to talk him out of it. It's black, beat to hell, and already lifted. Good starting point.

yeah I have seen civi blazers with 6.2's but I thought they were swapped in. This guy never says anything about swapping it in.

Yeah I knew they came stock, but not with a turbo 400 and leather interior? This might have gotten a paint job?

I made the mistake of calling someone Old once. Most old men have kicked more ash than me and you combined.

auto hubs though, they were only on civis...

But the 400 would only be military...

The military K5's seats were that reddish brown vinyl, as was the dash and door trim. If it was originally a CUCV someone has gone through a lot of work to disguise the fact. The TH400 could have been swapped in at some point I guess.

This is very true... With 170,000 miles it could have easily been swapped in to replace a 700r4, especially an early version 700r4

quickest way to know is to look in the doorjamb, or under the hood. too bad he didn't have engine pics.

my 84 gmc jimmy came with a 6.2 700r4/208 i hated it it now has a 500 horse 454 and a 400/205 and 1 ton axles and i can't aford to drive it due to the price of gas
