so a guy i know is selling some 37/13.5/16.5 goodyear military OZ he wants $300 for all 4 of them, the tires i have now got some dry rot so i need new ones, is this a goodprice???

They are Bias ply so they will flat spot if they sit but they go round again when they warm up. Readymix has one on his truck as it was his spare. They seem to do well offroad also.

they arent bias.. the 37's are the radials. i have a set of them on my truck.. great tire for the road.. they work pretty well offroad.. not crazy good anywhere.. just ok.

I know the 36's dont do good in mud. They are made for sand and hard pack. i got 4 hummer complete tires with rims and everything for 100 bucks.

I have a 37" Goodyear M/T as my spare (that I got for free). That tire does not appear to be DOT rated (though I haven't really looked that close). I'm almost positive it is radial. I have heard (and it seems) that the compound is really hard which is not good for wheelin'. $300 seems like too much to me, I know the guy that gave me mine paid less than $100 for 7 of them wheels included. Every place in the country is different though I suppose...
