Why? I mean an LS already bolts in, bolts to your trans and is a Chevy….seems like a major PITA to swap in a Hemi and for not much gain unless you get a hellcat engine

That's what I was thinking, I don't see the point as I don't think LS and LT are more expensive than the modern Hemi, and I don't think there is much benefit to it.

Only thing I can think of is just to be different, and using production parts isn't being different, ha ha. I want to build what I want, I don't care if anyone else likes it, or if its different or the same, I just want it. And I only want a Chevy engine in my Chevy.

And yeah, they have the hellcat engine, I'd rather have the LSA or LS9 comparatively speaking.

I totally get it in an older Mopar, makes a lot of sense and is a cool combo, but not a Chevy truck.

When I was kid, a friend of my dad, put Chrysler engines in everything. Had a 56 Ford put with a 413, every boat he had also. I never understood.
Oh well to each there own

The old 331 hemis in a rat rod is cool, I will say that the RB big block engines (440, 383, 400) did have very stout bottom ends….I guess when you think Jeeps, everyone has swapped everything into them

Probably somebody who works at Holley did the swap and is trying to recoup some R&D? (oops, rolled my Dodge, now what to do?) I mean, the listing is oddly specific. How do they know which headers are on the Hemi? How much different is the outlet compared to SBC/BBC/LS that they don't just offer some adapter or front-only piece?

I looked at the part number, they make the swap headers too. But I did think, that's a dual 3" exhaust, would be handy for many header back C10 setups I would think.

I've seen a few now since this thread was started.

I watched the first 11 seconds, and now I am not going to watch the rest, ha ha
