In high school (many years ago...:doah: ) a friend brought his Mom's brand new '82 K5 to school. It was 2wd and had a 305 and an SM465. He got the front wheels off the ground about 6" or so...but he had stuck it in granny low and repeatedly blipped the gas pedal until it was bucking so violently it wasn't even funny. Eventually the front wheels lifted...but it sure wasn't from the brute torque or massive hp. :haha:

I do this kind of stuff in my Blazer all the time. Then I wake up and have to go to work. hahahaha :doah: :haha: :D

In my old jimmy with a "BUILT" 400 and a four speed with in granny low I could lift the front tires off the ground !! you could just see light under them thats from a rolling start, not bounceing if you were at a dead stop it would just let them go

ok ok every body let me lay this straight cause i hate being criticized now theres a hump right after the stop a pretty decent one i was pilling out and i mean pretty good not reall fast but when i let off they spun i kinda felt it the bump and thats when it popped up the front and did the wheel stand i got 3.73 gears with a gov lock and 35 inch tires with a 700R-4 tranny and a 208 transfer anything else and no i aint doing it again cause i kno im lucky i didnt break nething the first time

Geez.........don't they teach young Texans how to use commas and periods, as well as capital letters at the front of a sentence?:surepal:

Punctuation- it's a game EVERYONE can play!!!!

How about some spelling? I've wheelied and jumped my K5 off many things. If your friends say you did then bask in the glory that is K5 and tell them all to tell hot chicks about your truck. P.s. 350's rule! Anything is possible with the Mouse. Gotta love the Mouse.

That's the only way i can see it happening..... Unrelated but in the 80's the US navy had medium duty chevys, maybey C60's but as short wheel base box trucks with 350s and sm465s. I did similar to Rene's story with one by flooring & letting off many times over in low, after the front end started lifting I kept doing it and bouncing it until I was getting over a foot of air under the front tires and tragging the back end on the ground, It had six pallets of copier paper in the back to help though too... It was really, really, violent.

im sure i had axle wrap like no ones buisness espeacilay with my 4 inch lift blocks

and that would keep your front tires completely on the ground. the reason drag cars lift the front tires, is that axle wrap has been completely eliminated, and traction maximized. the tires hook, and have enough bite that they lift the front of the car. do you have 3.08s in your 10 bolt?

im pretty smart on drag cars and all so i knew that but learning 4x4's now but no on the 3.08 i got 3.73 and also i thnk i found out that i got a 6 inch lift instead of a 4 lol i was looking at my spring pack in the rear of my lifted one compared to my stock and i got a 3inch block and a spare leaf in my lifted truck over my stock and its rather thick

sorry, still dont see it being physically possible. if it did it once, it will do it again. get it on video next time, and post up.

In your excited state, you forgot to bring punctuation along for the ride.

i just i know i was lucky to not break any thing the first darn time with my lil bitty ten bolt so the answer is no

well, in that case, we'll file it under BS and be done with it.:deal:

You are the one who came here with no punctuation and no proof... =) Don't get snippety with the boys here... they'll slap you into next week.

In high school I used to have an '84 montero with a 2.4L, which happened to have a 4.56 rear end IIRC, as well as a very low first gear (can't recall the ratio). Anywho, it would only take about three really quick mashes on the pedal and I could get the front end on that thing bouncing like I had hydros:eek1: :haha: . We got it on video getting the front about a foot of the ground. funny stuff
