Is this bad??

I dropped the pan on my new 79 blazer tonight. Well after punching the pan back into shape so I could get the bolts loose. Yes there were several holes punched in the pan. So um... is it bad when the pan comes down and you find a chewed up lifter and a two lobe section of the cam in the pan?


#1 and 2 rods, pistons etc are mangled and in pieces. I won't be able to tell if it is at least a good core until I get it out and torn apart. But on the up side it is truely a 4 bolt main engine. So hopefully it will be a good core, if not oh well, it is still cool to see the carnage.
