The cross pin is in every open carrier. It appears complete, but there are a set of springs and pins it needs (not pictured) and there are small collars inside the gear teeth (also not pictured)

It didn't come with a crosspin when new , they leave it to you to get a new one , and its IS very neccessary to use a new one . Also besides the crosspin and spring kit ( 12 bucks ask Tim or go to spidertrax ) , please get new thrust washers , you want that thing to work right from the get go , and old parts from old carriers aren't kosher
