I am assuming this is not good. This picture is looking front-to-rear at the front leaf spring rear mount. This is the passenger side and the drivers side is shifted in the same direction, just not as bad. I'm hoping my easy fix is to just replace the weak, factory shackles with a more heavy duty one. Any suggestions??

If your bending HD shackles from ORD/DIY4X then you need to look at other items-problems causing the shackle to bend there.

those are stocker flimseys... ORD HD's and a FUSH kit, problem solved...

Would I be better off throwing in just the thicker shackles, or upgrading the upper spring mounts as well? It looks like the bolt sizes differ between the two if I was to go that route...and I'm on a budget right now. I want to do the right thing - since when I run this truck it is run hard, but I may have to do it in pieces.

Just throw the regular HD shackles in with some new bushings for the hanger too. You'll be fine :)

Our HD shackle kit goes in the stock mounts/springs, we also spent a lot of effort making the urethane compound as durable as possible (they have an ORD part number cast in them, we have them made specifically for us).

Of course we make a mount with the bigger bushing as well, but our bushings in the stock mounts do pretty well.

And the replacement bushing will get you the same size bolts at each end of the shackle.
