Damn . I thought that was a fairly new one too . I think there may be another around here , maybe . If not I 'll ask numbnuts where he bought that one at .
Should I re-enforce the new one? Could this be due to the heavy duty pressure plate?

No idea , I traded that away ( minus that damage ) so I wouldn't have to wheel with 3 feet and 3 hands

I'm guessing a 3 finger pressure plate (Borg & Beck)? Even if it is, I ran one for years and my release fork doesn't look anything like that

Looks like a throwout bearing seized up, and spun on the fork some time in the past...
Any good parts store that carries Dorman or "HELP" stuff can get you a new one..many clutch catalogs like Borg-Warner list new forks too..or a GM dealer if no luck there...be sure to get a new clip if it uses one to hold it to the ball stud..I had to hit the GM dealer for one in my 72 K5--no one else made one like it but GM(back then anyway)....only cost a few bucks,but it threw a wrench in the gears of my plans to replace my clutch on sunday,and my fork looked like yours does..could not get the clip until monday morning!..

Yup three finger. I don't know about a seized bearing prior to me but the bearing that came out spun just fine (did make noise when engaged but could have been the bad fork rubbin and makin the noise) and I don't remember it looking like that when I put the whole kit and kaboodle together 9 months ago. Could have been a hair line crack I didn't notice but........
