hey all, While pulling the studs out on the dana 60 steering knuckle this piece that I think is plastic or thin rubber came off. Do I need to replace it? Does it act like antivibration or just a pad?
I can get pics if needed

I'm pretty sure you're describing the thin rubber gasket that sits between the steering arm and the knuckle. It's basically just a seal that prevents water from creeping into the kingpin area. If the gasket is still good, re-use it. If not, a little bead of RTV can be used in it's place.

I knew that was coming.......:rotfl:

I may not be a gearhead, but I still have a little bit of experience working on these here trucks, y'know.
