Got these of Interco’s blem page. Supposed to be 12.5” wide, barely 11” wide. Mounted on 8.5” H2 rims, almost looks like it’s too wide for the tire. What’s happening to Interco? Used to be they measured true to size. Other tire is stock H2, 315/70…..

Chinese tape measures are different.

Just like everything else, can't raise the price, so make the product less.

I was just going to say, since when has Interco been true to size?

Way back (2013?) I switched from 42" IROKs to 42" Goodyear's, the Goodyear's were easily 3" taller. Tire pressure and wheel width are factors, but those 42" IROKs were closer to 37-38 real world. Stupid.

Friend of mine bought the same tires 4 or 5 years ago and sold right after installing them for the same reason.

Height is fine but the width isn’t. I guess I was expecting a wide tire. I had a couple sets of 35x16x16.5 on 12” wheels n they dwarfed regular 35x12.5s, width (obviously) and height. Still gonna run em, just a lil disappointed…

Every interco tire is different; i had 39.5/13.50 iroks on 15x10’s and they measured 38/15 and then 42/14.50 iroks on h1’s and they were 40.5/13.5. So all over the map, not even consistent differences, even same model tire.

right; I had some 42s that were taller than my 44s; both TSL

12.5 is the section width - basically the widest part of the tire - only loosely related to the tread width, which varies a lot depending on the design. The 315 section width = 12.4", so they should be roughly the same and by your pics, the widths are close. That looks like "Bigger LTB", which is advertised as 10" tread width https://www.intercotire.com/tire/497. 315/70R17 = 34.4" tall and your new swamper is clearly taller than them.

I know how all that measurements are "supposed" to work, but can at least be close. Yes they are the bigger LTB, hate to see what the regular LTBs look like.

I think the name came from the first size in that design being bigger than the ones available in the old LTB.

I used to run 33/13.50x15 LTB's back in 2005 and they were true to size. Looked killer, rode like crap.
