Is This worth $1000??

It is as long as it comes with that spare tire cover. It looks like it is in decent shape. Rusty ones here in Ohio sell for more than that.
 
Personally, just looking at it I would stay far, far away. Whoever owned it thought they could work on cars and put all that crap all over it. That is a warning that under the hood and dash it looks just the same.

Notice the black tarp on the seat, BTW? That means something is leaking, or the interior is completely shot. If there were photos of every angle, ala my Buyers Guide stickied in the Garage, and you ask some questions, you'll probably find it's worth $500.

Thats a tough one, looks fairly solid, tailgate sucks and theres been a few repaints. Who knows what all is underneath that blue paint too.

If the engine is shot I would probably run from that thing, seems like too much of a gamble, for that kind of money.

Yep I saw that and asked for more interior, engine bay and drive train pics. He replied that there are 2 in the add. He must not want to sell it.
 
If I found something that solid around here for $1000, I`d jmp on it. Probly a different story out there, as rust free trucks are all over.
 
I like how he states it has 53,000 miles and the Odometer check says OK...but if you look at the report, it shows the odometer reading of 31,000 miles in 1995 was not correct
 
If you run a carfax I would bet that is a 100k plus truck, and there is a reason why he won't post more photos - it's crap. Walk away and let someone else deal with the headache, which is probably what happened to him. He bought it and realized it was a nightmare and now is trying to unload it ... and profit, too!
 
If you read the add... in the history report is says title: ISSUE FOUND...

something is up with this ride...check it out further
 
Looks to be in better condition than mine was/is when I purchased it for a $1G last year.

Upon further reading the thread if the seller not working to make the sale...Providing pictures or what not there something shady going on.
