is this worth it?

Axles on the M1009 are 10-bolts, regular six-lug, half-ton stuff. Gov-bomb in back and, I've heard, occasionally up front.

Frame should be the same, yeah... but that's a HELL of a lot of work to swap, vs just fixing your existing frame.

pretty bad its twisted and the c is closed some around the t case area and where the front spring shackle is its twisted into my header

Pretty much the exact same frame. I'd do it.

I wouldn't pass that up, You'll have your moneys worth in what you need and can turn around and sell the military specific **** the MV enthusiasts snatch up off E-bay like crack and make some money back.

Its a 1/2 ton unless someone swapped axles. Stock M1009's came from the factory with G80 rear ends and open fronts, unless it was changed afterwords. They aren't anything special, still have crappy 3.08 gears.
