I'm in the process of setting my body back on the frame. I bought brand new bushings (Energy Suspension) and a 1" body lift (Off-road Design).

I have the 6 furthest back bolts in and started. The 2 directly underneath the captain seats are about 1" too high.

No matter what we do it won't sit down. It's hitting nothing except the bushings and body lift.

Anyone had any similar experiences? Any advice?

I'll try to get some pictures tonight when I get to the garage. But it's got me completely confused why all the others but those 2 won't sit down like needed.

I have only done the ORD 1" body lift on a crew cab pick up, and not a K5. There is a top bushing and bottom bushing. Do you have both of them in place? Maybe the body mount point rises up at that location, and you have to install some washers as spacers. I had a little bit of the problem you are having with my crew cab pick up, but not a whole one inch gap. My gaps where only about 1/8" that I filled in with fender washers to get as completely level cab mount as possible.
