I'm converting my crew cab from an auto to manual and I'm using an o.e. hydraulic clutch system. I've got shorty headers and they interfere with the placement of the slave cylinder. Has anyone run across this before? If I go back to stock manifolds for a '75 will everything clear?

also search my screen name and hydro

read up on my problems i had first so you dont have to redo it like i did . :doah:

I used headers off a Chevelle in my old 84 that had a 454, one of the primaries was hitting the slave, so I spaced it out till it didn't hit. Got some threaded rod for the push rod, works great. Guy I traded it to is still driving it.

Well, I'm running S-10 V8 swap headers on a 350 because they were new and free. The fitting for the hose on the slave hits dead center of the collector. I've got to swap the headers out. I know they are not the best quality, but I'll probably go with the Flowtech 11500 headers because they're cheap.

When I did my auto to hydraulic manual I used full length headers and they worked out just fine. if you can afford it, go with them.
