Isuzu 6bg1

Anyone know of a 5 or 6 speed tranny or auto I guess that will adapt to an Isuzu 6bg1 engine?

If its the same series engine as what comes in NPR box trucks there's plenty of adapter kits out there. They just gear they're sales pitch towards using that 4cyl motor but if the engine series is the same it should be the same block pattern/crank end just with 2+ cylinders.

Not the same engine family. nor are there lots of adapter kits out there.

Call up Allmaras Diesel machine in beavercreek oregon. His name is Dustin.
His number is 503.545.3731

He is very knowledgable in the izuzu diesels. He also makes the only commercially available adapter plate for the 4bdit/2t/6bdit found in the NPR trucks.

I talked to him already. I found him through a cummins search. He can adapt to just about any tranny.
