Well, drove the sub for the first time in a few months tonight. This was also the break in for the new gears. I finally have 5.13s in both axles, not one axle and my work table. I need new shocks, to adjust my headlights, check tire pressure, repair the exhaust(cut it to clock then decided to unclock) and shorten driveshaft by 1.5 in. Then I will be done...for now.
I drove for three days and tehn I blew a fuse. It was the gage/idle fuse. This is my instrumentsand also is part of the glow plug circuit. I decided to check out my wiring around the engine bay since I had seen some shady stuff under there that I thought could live a little while. Well that was it, a little while. I found 10GA twisted and taped to 12GA wire, 16GA to 14GA and some other stuff. Now I am looking for anyone with a 90 diesel that can get me a pic of the wiring to/from the Glow Plug relay/controller so I can get this looking better and hooked up correctly. I haven't been ableto find a wiring diagram for this either, so if you have one I would greatly appreciate a copy.
