Ummm...I don't think that rear axle is gonna fit in the quad-bike!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
But what do I know...I'm just a girl!

Good luck.....hope it all goes well!

Me too!!!! I started my 14 bolt last week. I have spent 3 days cleaning and prepping for paint. I got my caliper brackets last Friday, removed the hubs on Saturday, painted the 14 bolt, bought rotors and calipers today. Oh yea!!!!!

I bought an angle grinder today gonna prep and paint it first. Then all bearings and seals. I am gonna wait till I can get a front axle that is 8 lug and 3.73's. It's a fun project little by little as $$$ allows.

Re: It has begun!! New question 04/09 HELP

OK now that I am this far into it. (I was gonna reuse old bearings, but I found a small crack in the race for the carrier) so new bearings all the way around it is.. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I have been reading tech articles and old posts about R&P setup for about four hours now /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, and I am pretty sure I can do this. Anyways I have a question. This axle has 3.73's I was gonna leave them, but I want lower gears for future tire upgrades. How much more work is it to go ahead and put in new gearss as well?? Thanks everybody.
