My grandson said the thing he likes most about is they're camouflaged...:doah:

(They are pretty rusty...)

Ok, so what up???
That post seems like you are either posting a random thought, or not giving up the rest of the story!

I'm gonna dig out one of the smilies....

:sign6:

Cuz you know how we are around here!!

So do tell sir!! Or is this an April fool's thing started early?

Actually, I do plan on painting the roof white. Tired of roasting my skull in the summer.....

So now I will ask, since I have been thinking about how to do it myself,
How are you thinking of doing the color break? I am bad at visualizing sometimes. I completely understand wanting to cool the top down!!!!
I am not sure how to make the line look good, but I believe that I am over-thinking it..... These trucks weren't ever designed with just astetic presentation in mind.

You should paint the top white
and the wheels

somethin like this but with original colors. I'm flipping between painting the top white or gray like the side inset...

I guess that I didn't remember them ever having the top painted that.
And I would be stuck not knowing which, between white, or matching the gray.
I don't know that I could do 3 colors....
Can't visualize it..
But I am glad to see what you are thinking! I have been trying to get rid of some of the black on the top of my black and silver K5 Jimmy. I know that it doesn't have the same panel lines as a burb, but it still helps me.

:waytogo:

I've been thinking about painting the roof on my Suburban too, even started a thread Paint Opinions. Maybe it'll help give you an idea. I'm still undecided.
