So I went down today and got a couple battery's for my 94 K-2500. I put them in and turned the key and let the glow plugs warm up and bam she fired right up! I know for a fact that it has been well over a year since it has run. Who know how long it had ran before that. Anyways I was pretty impressed with how well it ran and the engine was actually pretty smooth for a 6.5. I just ran it around the yard to check out the feel of the breaks and what not. The thing crawls in 4 low with the NV4500 in granny gear. Time to find a Ford to swipe a front axle from cause I am not down with the IFS stuff.

Awesome! Did you put fresh oil and diesel in it?

Yeah I changed the oil cause that's just rule of thumb with me, and put in 10 gal of fresh diesel. Lucked out and found a new in the box air cleaner under the rear seat. Need to finish up getting the front end all together. Still need to get an AC condenser and a hood. The truck was in a fender bender before I got it but I have 90% of the parts replaced. I'm pretty stoked cause I am into the entire thing for less than $450 thus far. Still a lot of work left but I am well ahead of the game so far. By the way It drives great and only 164K on the OD. Love that turbo spool.
