Its a Blazer NOT a Bronco....

About the only thing im guilty of is calling it a TRUCK.

Ill say im working on my TRUCK or BLAZER, either or. lol

When I was 16 I had a 91 Explorer...everyone called it a Blazer, now I once again have an SUV in my Fleet this time a 96 Blazer....now they all call it an Explorer:rolleyes:

Both have been called Jeeps before though:doah:

I blame OJ for this one. lol. I know the older folks know what my Blazer is, but Ive had young guys say my truck looked good and asked if its a BRONCO, I say no its a Blazer. Anyone else get this? :D
i've had peeps ask if my old truck with a 10 in lift and 40in tires was a four wheel drive ??? nope that knot in the axle is a tumor.

Try teaching people that your truck is a 1951 dodge M-37. My brother has a real hard time with that. My dad's friend always calls it a power wagon, which is close, I guess. And all the guys he works with call it a jeep. They think its old, its military, so it must be a jeep right?

I love to mess with the Landcruiser and eB owners by purposely calling them Heeps:haha: . My Blazer is called a Bronco all the time, partly cause my little brother has an early Bronco  .

I get annoyed when people call my Jimmy a Blazer:p:
Mostly because I have a 1990 s-10 blazer, so i gets confusing if people ask about the jimmy but say blazer:screwy:

i was over at a friends house and his little brother said "whose got that bronco outside?" all my friends madefun of me cuz he thought it was a ferd. they all drive chevy's and saw it as an insult. it does make me mad that ppl call them broncos.

Most people just call mine a truck...in fact I'm guilty of doing the same. I do it mostly because "I'm working on my Jimmy" sounds like I'm off somewhere wanking myself.

I really gotta get some Blazer tags for my '81...

I had 1999 blazer and it was the lifted package with the 30” tires. It was still called a s 10… alas misrepresentation happens to all blazers.

I have a ford explorer for the wife and I had it at work and a co worker called it a Blazer. LoL.. He also calls his Isuzu trailblazer hack a Blazer.

My FS Blazer has been mistaken from day one.

At least this helps to separate the people I plan on talking to and the ones I just smile at and walk away from.

you think thats bad... how about all the clowns calling my rig a "Blazer". It ain't a Blazer, its a JIMMY!!!! Even Watsons rig gets mis-named all the time by mags etc.

;)

And Watson felt the need to rename it Wally...

I dunno, I've always had GMC's and I still don't like the "Jimmy" badging.

prolly so everyone would quit screwing the name up!! ;) :thumb:

To each their own... the name "Blazer" is certainly the more popular of the two. I like Jimmy myself. When I talk about my rig to my wife or whatever, I say, "I'm going to work on Jimmy" or "Jimmy is going with me to Tillamook"... sort of like we had a son named Jimmy. lol!

In any case, it ain't a Blazer! ;)

I like that, I haven't named mine yet been a year too. I just say I am going to go work on my truck mainly cause I have an Astro van too. I don't mind what you call it just don't call her a JEEP!

I'd get that all the time. Every body would say sick bronco man... and I would say its a blazer not a god damn bronco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My family started callin it the beast and I liked it so it just kind of stuck

Bad is the moron who asks me if my Bronco is 4wd . . . I drive a lifted SUBURBAN!

How friggen dumb can you get.

alright i understand a blazer getting that response. but this girl at my school said to me the other day "hey brandon, i love your bronco!!!!!" i wanted to slap the crap out of her. first its a chevy.... second.... its a damn suburban<------- i mean seriously. she took it to to far.

i always have to explain my truck is like a bronco with removable top..but its not a bronco.. i dont think many people know about the full size blazers
