It\'s Done! Here are the pics!!!

Here are the pics of my now "finished" truck!

The particulars are: 6" Tuff Country lift, General Grabbers 35x12.5x15, 14-bolt SF rear w/Detroit locker, 10-bolt front (open), 4.56 gears, JVC 12-disk changer, MTX sub with Sony 6.5" speakers and a 500-watt Profile amp.

Let me know what you guys think! Special props go to Slodawg for the tire carrier, by the way. It works great, bro!

Re: It\'s Done! Here are the pics!!!

The first was of the front, this one is from the driver's side...

I apologize for the shadows, I am not much of a photographer...

Passenger side front.

These will be on my website soon, I just got them back and wanted to post them as soon as I could.

Oh, and the rack is from a Ford Fairmont wagon that some heschers trashed and wound up in a junk yard. $14, works great!

Lookin Good. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I don't understand the "Done" thing. I didn't think any of these projects are every really "Done".

They aren't. Mine's not either, hence the "finished" in quotes. I am going to put in a Dana 60 front eventually, as well as numerous other things. But the bank account says that it is "finished"--at least for a while! Besides, it is totally wheelable in its current state.

It's Reno. I had to get up high, away from all of the Hot Rods that take over the streets every summer!

I am not a big fan of T-buckets.

Hey, cool truck man. What did you do to your 9.5" 14? I'm considering one for my Blazer, and want to know how strong it is compared to a D60 rear, and if there are any upgrades for it? Nice truck again man.

I would also like some more info on the rear axle. Are you still running 6-lug wheels (did you convert an 8 lug axle to a 6 lug?).

Re: It\'s Done! Here are the pics!!!

No conversion was necessary at all. The 14-bolt SF came with six-lug wheels. What's cool is got HUGE brakes along with my axle, so now I can stop like a small car. Very cool. After about a week of driving, I must say I don't even notice the locker at all. I am very happy about the whole thing. If you have any moire questions, go ahead and drop me a line.
