gotchya. i've found that they are also easier to find. i like that they are smaller tho - seems the others would get stuck on rocks and such since i often see them sticking out a touch beyond the wheel.

Depends on backspacing and stuff...mine never stuck out and I never once smacked them on anything. I also never once broke a hub...even when I was being stupid. I really like the steel Spicers.

well, the only reason mine broke was because i decided to run an entire wheel bearing down to dust and send it thru all the moving parts of my hub... now THAT'S stupid!
