just won one off of ebay, half hour away at the state public works department. just needs front tires but with a posi rear I'll need rear ones too,lol.:bow:

the plan is to cruise it for a whole since i burned up my daily driver/wheeler.
then work on getting a new wheeler and then swap the drivetrain into a 2wd either 67-72 burb or a 50-54 chevy sedan(way down the road)


*** dang not a LT1 as first stated, but the price is right.

93's werent lt1, only the corvette got the lt1's in 93, and they were speed density systems, not mass air. In 94 they were available in camaros-firebirds (aluminum heads) and buick roadmasters/ impalla ss's (cast heads)
 
cop cars are cool no matter what motor they have. A friend of mine has one that still has the siren and flashing lights, not the roof, but the headlights and markers. it was an unmarked car. I sold it to him through my work for $1800 and it only had about 40k on it. it's a 96.

I always thought they were quick off the line but this one has highway gears in it. it will smoke the tires if you really try, but it will run at 100 mph all day.
 
The lt1's in cop cars had respectable numbers. 275hp, low 300's for torque

camaros/ firebirds were low 300's for both and vettes were 330hp and/350tq

The only differance between the vettes and the camaros/ firebirds was the computer tune...(and pulley system, but for powers sake, just the tune)

Camaros didn't have more than 300 horse until the LS1 IIRC. 285 was the most for an LT1 I think.
 
this has the L05 350 TBI motor 9C1 police package 205 horse 300 lbs tq.
my buddy says to rip off the TBI shove a huge cam in it and put my tunnel ram on it. ?????

only the Vette got the LT1 in '92, in '93 they were available in Vettes, and Camaros and Firebirds.
 
the distributor's front edge is even with the front edge of the cowl, so just the dist. is under the cowl. I'm not saying I'm going to... just an idea to do.

The hood is probably too low for a tunnel ram. No problem though - just convert it to a shaker box hood :thumb:
 
OH great... just what I need. Look in my rear view mirror and think it's a cop only have Jeremy fly by me with Arturo in the passengers seat flyin' me the bird. You too jokers are gonna get in way to much trouble with that car. I tell ya what. I will sell you a Honda 80 Scooter and two helmets for $50 and you give me that car so that I save you 1000's of dollars in tires and tickets.
 
oh I know. 1st order of bizznezz is to give the car a paint job. they ruined it ripping the decals off so I got to touch it up. the roof lights are off but the door pillar spot light is still there.

since it is OSU i should paint the doors orange and put some "beaver patrol" decals on it, LMAO!!!
