My Blazer finally moved under it's own power tonight!!! :woot::D:D:D I'm now on the tail end of my TH400 swap. Only taken me 2 months to get here, lol. All I have left (for now) is gettin the front d-shaft modified and re-installed and moving the t-case mount back so I can get that bolted up. Speakin of which... would it hurt anything for me to drive it 10 miles or so into work without having that mount on there? Some of the guys are just as anxious to see it as I am to drive it... But anyways...

i would not drive it without the t case bolted to the crossmember IMO that would put alot of strain on the motor mounts because the turning of the drive shaft would make the motor trans and case move side to side as you accelerate/decelerate

also up down move movement on the motor tranny t case think of it like axle wrap it would do the same movement when you would put it in to gear etc except on your tranny

I worded that wrong... The bracket that bolts to the frame and the side of the t-case. The torque something or other... I can't remember exactly what it's called.

If you mean the little "L" shaped snubber between the side of the case and the frame rail I would say drive it to work and you should be ok. If you are taking about the actual T-case crossmember/rubber mount that goes underneath then absolutely not
