my C10 is no longer a C10. i pulled the cab off of the C10 chassis today, and put it on the K10 frame. since i decided at the last minute that i was going to do it, i didnt have any help. thank god for 24" tall jackstands, 4"x4"x8' pressure treated lumber, and cinder blocks! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif i figured since i was only going to leave it up on blocks for a few mintes i would be ok. never again will i lift a cab by putting 2 4x4s under the rocker panels. they held up great, but had a few close calls. my mom was home, so she was checking up on me every few minutes. if anything would have happened help would've been there within minutes (neighbors).

Sounds like when I took the bed off my truck, I thought 2x4's would work, fell over after 3 hours of carrrrrrrrrreful jacking....... then i just drove out from under it and left some nasty ruts in the lawn, dented the cab too......

i dented my cab last week when my sister's boyfriend helped me put the 4x4s under the cab, so i wasnt real worried about it.

rjf, if you knew me, i'm a very spontaneous person. i've also got this quirk, when i want to do something, i want to do it now, not in 3 weeks. i just "had" to do it today. dangerous, yes, but so is getting in the truck and driving to work every day. i can control what i am doing, but not the other people.
