I have a carport but that is only good when there are not 50 mph winds present, a little bit of sideways rain and stingin' rain.(Forrest Gump reference)

I thought about that. Running out and grabbing the stereo out of the Jimmy in the rain and bringing it in so I can work on installing it in a 20 MM ammo can that will go in between the seats so on days like today my radio is not getting rained it Will a CD player work installed vertically?

I know my older Sony unit has a knob on the case you turn so it;ll work vertically..

I'm sitting in the living room finishing the wiring for my fans.. loom, relays, etc...

hehe, just lost power for 5 minutes, had to "restore" my firefox session...

It just let up so I'm going to try to run out and git r done. The weather changes here every 5 minutes! Oh yeah, when I get back in I'll post up some pics of what I made yesterday... OOOh suspense....

I decided that I'm going to put my pics of what I made today in it's own "build" thread. But here are the pics of the radio in the ammo can. I got to go to my shop and make some brakets to hold it in there. I was really surprised to see that it fit so good in there.

Wow, nifty idea. Yes, the cd player should work vertically with no problems.
