F_ck off with that name calling sh_t. Yeah, I know Barry Grant uses the Holley design, where Edelcrap just puts thier name on something. BG improved on it, Edelcrap just bought up a sh_tload of units and stuck thier name on it. Now if y'all wasn't so dense, the title of this thread is "It's so pretty". F_ck that Edelcrap sh_t, I don't want it. If you want to waste your money on it, that your choice, but don't try to push it on me please. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

No arguement that Holley's FI system is junk. I just don't like Edelcrap. Y'all can spend your money on whatever you chose, but PLEASE don't try to push Edelcrap on me please.

i dunno, a guy in our club is runnin it on his 355 in his jeep willys (holley 2d projection) and it works awesome!

Holley is the company that has gone down the drain. They're sellouts, buying Lunati, Weiand, NOS, and others to try to produce an image.

Edelbrock products are the best in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Demon carbs IMO are no different than any other Holley carb. Worthless for a non race vehicle.

I dunno, I have an edelbrock on my truck and I don't know anything about it, other than it works great.... and it needs adjustment

We must be the lucky ones Joe. Our beat up Ole Wimpy runs like a scalded cat with an Edelbrock carb and intake.


Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one. Some folks aren't so nice about expressin them though.

As far as IMHO on edel vs. holley....Holleys are badass on a motor that requires a LOT of fuel to make lots of HP otherwise they are junk. The double pumper gets terrible mileage and floods very easily. Edelbrock carbs seem to be home very nicely on mild motors, hills, fuel mileage, and daily driving...especially the Q-jet models.

I ran a Holley 4150 650cfm on a 383 Stroker in a 73 Camaro, and never had a problem with it. If you learn how to propperly tune a Holley, it'll preform very well. I don't have anything against a Q-jet, that is a Rodchester anyways.

me too and couldent last long in ti=his argument but i new truck buddy of mine has become amasing at tuneing hollys and makeing kick ass icnition systems can make a truck get amasing mileage and still have lots of power. I geuss its all in your perefrance /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
