Wow its been awhile since I have been on here. Anyway, I am reading gears on the 14FF ring gear. Is it supposed to be read as pinion gear count then ring, or is the ring gear count first? I.E. .... xxxxxxxxxxxxpinion ring xxxx xxxx OR xxxxxxxxxxxxXX ring pinion xxxxxxx

To get gear ratio it is ring gear teeth divided by pinion gear teeth.

not sure on that one. I wasn't aware there was codes to read on the R&P's.
I believe it's part number, then pinion, then ring, then build date.
The last 4 numbers are build date. 11 78 for example.

8:41 is 5.13's and 9:41 is 4.56's

correct me if i'm wrong but i thought it was 41 / 10 = 4.10 and 41 / 9 = 4.56 ??????
