My radiator has a leak and wont hold pressure. I need to replace it by early may so I need to order one asap. I was wondering if there is an after market company that is best for ordering an "OEM" radiator or if there is a direct fit aluminum rad. It really does need to be direct fit as I have limited tools and time. I took the shroud off and measured the rad fin area and the measurements don't seem to quite align with what I have seen online. Its about an 1.5 inches deep and the height is about 20 inches and the over all is 21 inches. I don't know what the rad size should be for a 1990 Jimmy with a 350 and an auto trans so thats why I am here. Thanks in advance.

I know that this has been discussed here before. I am hoping that some will post up, or post a link to an older discussion.

I have a northern aluminum one in my '70 that wasn't completely bolt in back about 6 years ago. I had to clearance the original holders and clamps for the rubber cushions to keep them from rubbing on the tanks. But the "Becool" brand one that it replaced was a pile for the price.

I believe that I have heard some discussions about Champion replacement radiators. Not sure.

Well I when to rock auto and found an aluminum rad that seems to be the right size. I guess all I can do now is wait for it to arrive and hope my university doesn't harass me for changing a rad in their parking lot. Thanks for the help.
