I have a few of these.
Single plane, dual plane, tall short.
$50
Lincoln CA

Sorry I was on the road all week I have a bunch of shipping quoes to do.
There is blazinzuk ahead of you on choice.
Any preference on type?

No problem. I'd prefer the single-plane intake, as I'm installing a turbocharger. I think I don't care about the height due to the ATS intake adapter. But I should probably check measurements to be sure. Normal 6.2 truck intakes are the tall ones, right? And the short ones were used in vans and HMMWVs? I may have that mixed up. :dunno:

Paging @blazinzuk...

Ethan you can have the single plane if you want. I kind of thought along the same lines as you but it seems in everything I have read says dual or single really doesn't matter much when turbocharging. At least I can't find any actual proof of which one is better or not

I think the lower drag of the single plane will be better with the turbine, and as far as I can tell GM agreed (because that's what they ran on 6.5TD engines). But it's not going to make a big difference. I already have one J-code manifold (dual-plane), but really my desire is to get a second one so I can ditch the C-code that's in the stepside. It needs air pretty badly since I took the 6.5 intake back off.

FWIW, a 6.5 intake (single-plane) on a N/A 6.2 is still a noticeable step up from the stock C-code manifold. And going back to the C-code manifold put a noticeable dent in my smile.

I'll still take whichever manifold Eric doesn't want.

I am pretty sure I had a low profile intake, just need to see where I put it

Here's a picture of the dual plane. I have 2 of these.
And a bad picture of the single plane. I have one that I can find.
If I find more I will let you guys know.
I boxed one and will get quotes tomorrow.
If you haven't given me shipping info please do.

Instead of liking my thread give me your shipping info.
I know you live in Afton but that's it never made it to your house.

I don't know how many nice engines you have sitting in sheds. :dunno:

Even if it's not a serpentine setup, I'm missing a slightly important piece of my V-belt setup. If you're selling parts...
I have 4 6.2 engines sitting.
One that is a cucv long block, and 2 complete engines, and 1 missing the ip

Bump. Any progress on the shipping quotes?

The piece I'm missing is the 7" (175MM) long 8MM pivot bolt for the alternator. Haven't run into one at Fastenal, so for several years I've been running my alternator tied to just the front bracket. It's not the greatest idea I've ever had.

I should have the quote today, I have it already boxed and just need to get the quotes.
I will try and get that bolt for you maybe throw it in the box
