Is it ok to jack-up front of the truck using the front pumpkin (diff) for double tire change etc. I ask because I would think it’s heavier. Just wondering if it puts too much strain on it.

If the pumpkin was weak enough not to support the entire weight of the truck,I wouldn't want to drive it over potholed streets!..

I've never seen one fail by jacking up the truck under it,but I have seen some axle tubes that came un-plug welded and sagged once the tires came off the ground a few times!...(on lifted trucks that saw a lot of "air" off roading)...those aftermarket truss bars do help..
