I'm only selling them as I'm springing an arm and a leg for the upcoming anniversary Blu-Ray set because I'm a total Bond nerd.

PM me for Paypal stuff; include your ZIP code for a $ total.

Thanks!

I too am a Bond nerd. Mel bought me the whole DVD set, plus the two Daniel Craig movies.
I anxiously await the upcoming Skyfall.

Thought maybe you needed to buy another engagement rig???

I'd dig an engagement rig, though the last thing I need is another truck.

But if you meant ring ... heh, no, not so much. She's more afraid of the M-word than I am =))

Hard to type on phone. But an engagement rig would be cool, a camo smurfette if you will. His and her matching fun runners.

Being this is a bond thread.....

Best bond?

For me totally Connery. Defiantly had the smooth factor.

Well, the current GF actually digs the crewcab, made the Tim Allen grunt when I 'splained the 400+ hp / 500+ tq and that the motor was nearly 4x the displacement of her Kia's, so there's hope :D

Smooth, yes. Bit of a bastard, far less of a fop than Moore.

And Daniel Craig is close to the detached, cold-blooded bastard that Ian Fleming originally envisioned.

But I still dig Timothy Dalton. Suave, drops the one-liners, but still ruthless and cold-hearted. Maybe Daniel Craig will become him, maybe he's the original Bond who will later grow, after his wife dies, into Timothy Dalton.

History and time have always been mutable concepts with Bond -- how is Judi Dench still M, other than, well, she's the best M yet?

I agree. Across the board, except dalton, felt he was just a filler till they got old remington steele. He was a great bond, but I think he got short changed in the hype.

I have read that Dalton was only picked 'cuz they couldn't get Brosnan -- there is a certain resemblance.

Now, worst Bond ... George Lazenby is most people's, and OHMSS is certainly a different movie. But I actually give him a little credit, and generally go with Live And Let Die. I have never been convinced of Yaphet Kotto's acting skills, and the whole 70's vibe, plus the voodoo theme, are cheesy.

Though Moonraker and the shuttles with "lasers" (sorry, channeling Austin Powers) is really quite awful too. Hmm.

I think each bond brought something to the game, but I would put Pierce brosnan on the top and Craig right behind.
Didn't care much for dalton, maybe because I only saw him in one movie so he didn't get the time to grow on me.
for connery and moore it's a toss up, they were both good and obviously were there the longest, but I guess with the movies being older where tech and acting was a little boring compared to today, they get an unfair score from me.
I haven't seen the other bond, I guess I should talk to you about watching that one.

George Lazenby is an Aussie model-turned-actor who did one Bond movie, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It's ... different. Bond got married, to a redhead named Tracy (played by Diana Rigg.)

Back on topics, the DVD set is sold but the Blurays are up for grabs ...
