Firstly, NorCal_Chris is mainly to blame...SAS'd Power Wheels havin a$$ mofo!
This guy: http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17704 is also to blame.... :deal:

I asked my 7 year old son Jayden, "would you want a mini-buggy?"
He replied: "WHO WOULDN'T WANT ONE!?" :haha:

So, the IFS, trail arm rear, gas powered mini-buggy was born. :woot:

These are pics of the build thus far:

I need to hit the junkyard to find some a-arms, to modify.
Tomoro I'm gonna fab the swing arm, and the rest of the cage.

:D

Awesome! When he's outgrown it I will buy it. My daughter will be ready by that time. She is ridding a 6 volt Barbie Jeep. The smallest one they make. I put in a 12 volt power hair battery. It's a lot faster now.

Nice work!

Sweet! :thumb:

I'll keep you in mind, when it starts to get small.
I'm gutting the floor pan, to replace it with a Diamond Plate one.
After that, it's getting little kid bucket seats. :waytogo:

I'm still debating on what motor to use.
At first, I wanted to use a small 63cc, 2-stroke.
But, a way bigger 4-stroke, with a governing device of some kind, seems more appropriate. :deal:

Oh, and thanks... :D

You are making me want to overbuild Dariens hummer now :doah:

Maybe I will just make one for me :haha:

I think a kickback on the A pillar would look a little cleaner, but will wait to see what you do with it.

I did a 24 volt Jeep for my daughter about 5 years ago...

The a pillar bar you made is straight up and down. i was talking about tilting it back some so it isnt so abrupt.

Thats really cool, but she needs some better traction. Do they make swampers that small? :)

My kid just announced that he wants one for Christmas. ;)

Maybe yours will give me some good ideas. I wish my Kid was older because I want to do suspension and other stuff. I even have a couple small coilovers, and misc other things from old buggy projects I can use. Keep it up!
