Maybe yours will give me some good ideas. I wish my Kid was older because I want to do suspension and other stuff. I even have a couple small coilovers, and misc other things from old buggy projects I can use. Keep it up!

We did the 24vt powerwheels thing and used 3/8in hexhead screws in the tires for traction.

Id put a bigger motor in than necessary because you can always govern the amount of throttle. But you cant turn it up faster than full throttle for when he gets bigger if you choose a small one.

So what you're saying is that there's no replacement for displacement?

I'm thinking the motor should come out, bore it out .060" or so, get a stroker crankshaft, and a hot cam, and headers, and ...

My buddy is a small engines Master.... Well, not really, but he is guru status.
I've left the motor up to him.

I'm building up, so we have space available.
Then, I'll drop it off with him, and let him do the engine part.
Some things are best left to those that know what they're doing.
