Jaydens 'Junior Buggy'... [Dug'y fresh.]

Choppy-choppy.... :D

I was tempted to strap the frame to the Cherry Picker, to make Greg laugh. :haha:

Checking to see how well Krylon Fusion adheres, to unprep'd plastic.
Reminds me of the Batmobile.

Rustoleum does make a plastic primer -- you may well be aware of this as you are the spray paint whiz. It's weird, thin stuff, but I've had good luck with it on some surfaces. (It's one of those "test on a small, hidden area first" things. Ugh. Hate painting plastic.)

Also, rotate your damn images. Use MS Paint if you have to, get a freeware image editor, whatEVER ... but my neck can't crane sideways any more :haha:

Ugh... Super screenshot speed.. :D

I know.
Photobucket loads them sideways.
I just assumed, since my iPad shows them normally, that everyone else saw them as normal.

I even tried uploading them counter-rotated.... No dice. :dunno:

Every day I hear "it works for me" from developers -- the assumption that working on one computer/browser/whatever implies global function ... is an assumption, and we know what that means :D

At least you know who to blame (Photobucket.)

Me and the kid drilled some holes and made some decisions, today.
*we also rocked out to the jeeps radio....

:haha:

It was decided that:

- the radio will be removed, in favor of an iPod adaptor.
- the steering wheel will be centered.
- the teeny 'windshield area' is gettin plexi on both sides.
- the gauges (he wants gauges) will be installed in the windshields dead space.
- one seat. (He wants it to be heated. I'm trying to explain how much of a nightmare that is.)
- full cage, with a roof, roof rack, and spare tire rack... :D

And, he is DYING to install a switch panel.
He specifically forbade me from installing it.
He said its "his thing".

This project is great!!!! Thanks a lot by the way now I have to build one! I happen to have an extra 450 Polaris motor/trans set up waiting!!!

I think every kid should have one! :D

I need to find a motor/auto trans.... Even a semi-auto would good.

Fridays list:
- square tube, to finish the frame, and build the cage.
- steering parts, and detachable steering wheel. (From a Shifter kart.)
- a-arms.
- Diamond Plate, for the skid plates.
- Misc. tabs, bolts, and stuff....

Well it looks as its the beginning of the end for you and yours. He is already into modifying perfectly good automobiles. Before long, the car/truck you buy him will be stripped apart taking up your parking space in your driveway. :haha:

Im praying my 7yr old daughter and 4yr old son are holding off on this stage. But im thinking that is a pipe dream, as they are already arguing over who gets my truck when I get old. And according to them, 26yrs old, is well, pretty damn old. Might as well just fall into a coffin and bury myself. Who knew  :haha:

My kid thinks I'm old (im 26)... He believes his grandparents to be ancient relics,
From the time of Andy Griffith, and the flintstones... :haha:

And, it wasn't a perfectly good rig..... It was too small, and too slow, and.... SQUIRREL!!!
