Also....
My brother-in-law said, I could pick through his quad-parts bin for buggy parts. :D
He upgrades all his stuff.
Lots of stock parts to be had.

Things should move along pretty quick, the next couple weeks. :woot:

Thats pretty bitchin mike! :thumb:

Soooo....

After riding my 450, for the first time in ~a year,
I've come to the conclusion that this buggy is gonna be FAST. :D

NorCal_Chris, and his dad, are taking out they're 'Rail;
I'm tagging along with my quad...

So, I prolly won't accomplish sh*t for the buggy today.
But, I did borrow a chop saw to make my life easier.... :haha:

So, I'm thinking of doing full independent suspension.

Chris' dad brought to my attention that, as cool/easily accessible swing arms are...
Where the heck are you gonna stuff all that motor?

So, I stared at the pics, and stared some more....
Full Independent Suspension would allow me to place the motor behind the rear shocks.
Then, I could cut up a quad axle, and make it a CV.

Like a mini-rail.

I had a friend do a mini rail/utv thing and use CV shaft parts from a Subaru for the ifs, worked pretty good, ill try and find some pics!

- Tacked on supports for boat-sides. :deal:
- Started the cage.
- Started re-designing A-arms.

- Also, fixed a jenky spot in the frame....
*one of those: "No one would ever see it, but it would bug me"... Things.)
*took a freaking hour to smooth it out... :doah:

Had to take a "wife-mandated" break....
But, I got this far in a couple hours.

After staring at that gawdawful monstrosity of a roof section,
I decided to go a different route.

I'll look a lot better.
Gonna get it done today. :D

Jayden is in love with this design....

I'm not the biggest fan of it, but he wants it this way. :dunno:
I still need to add a bunch of gussets and stuff.
But, this is how she sits, for tonight.

Still needs an A-pillar, gussets/supports, spare tire mount, and roof rack.

No real progress.
Just welded a front skid on, and welded up the parts of the frame that are there.

That an exocage or a jungle gym for the kid to play on? :haha:

Oh, wait, is there a difference? (Says the fat guy who has to swing on his cage to switch from driver to passenger seat :doah: )
