Was looking for a 6" bench grinder for a wire wheel and finishing stone. With no luck on CL I headed to a few pawn shops and found this. I wanted bigger, but for $30 thought i'd give it a shot. Its has an all cast body, made in USA and doesn't vibrate a hair. Anyone know who made tools for JC Penny? Bought this stand yesterday, for a vice or grinder.
and j.c.penny had good stuff back in the day. i know lots of guys still using there stuff. i got a 3/4" 1/2 hp drill thats 600rpm max of the j.c.penny brand. thing will twist your hand off if you dont watch it.
nice stand also made from semi brake drum and steel stock.
