it's overheating like a MOFO. The 2nd time it over heated it blew the overflow bottle apart and the time after that it hit over 400*s. since that time it needs about 2 gallons every 3 days.

anyone know what the compression should be on these if I do a presure check on it???

theres also no sign of water in the oil

I don't have my 4.7 stroker even started yet but I need this one to last me for a few.

forget the compression test, read your plugs, and do a leakdown test. my buddy had one that blew the head gasket between the coolant passage in the head and one of the cylinders. just pumped a little bit of water into the cylinder head at a time. went and had a Jasper engine put in it, and then 6 more just like it within a year. not sure if it was a Jasper problem or a Jeep problem though.
