Jeep cherokee Steering shaft vs ORD

Any benefit to going with the u-joint steering shaft ORD sells vs just getting a new Jeep Cherokee steering shaft at 1/3 the cost?
 
Yeah I’d avoid putting used parts back in steering. So starting new is a great option, like @cheavyk10 posted

The shaft out of the express vans also work

The steering U-joints aren't technically service items. There are 400,000 mile cars out there on original intermediate shafts and no problems. Sometimes the OEM parts are wildly more durable than aftermarket and not all new GM/Delphi is same as original, so you can make an argument either way.

(How many millions of dollars does Dorman - or whoever is building it - have into life-cycle testing?)
