I want to post this stuff for sale on CL but I don't know how much to sell it for.
This Heep pile used to be a CJ7.

If I posted this in the wrong place, I'm sure the mods will move it if need be.

Thanks for the input.

Yea, being a GM guy I don't know what any of it is worth. :dunno:

I'm just looking for ball park High-low's.

If anyone wants to help; pick a number 1-12 and give a high low price it would be very appreciated.

www.jeepforum.com might be your friend here. You could do a quick scan of their for sale section to gauge prices.

The rear axle is an AMC 20- don't mean to insult you if you already know, but you didn't say, so just trying to help. It's certainly better than a AMC 15, which is apparently the forerunner of the Dana 35, but I can't make any kind of guess toward price.

Sorry I can't help more than that- I know AMC cars, but I don't know much about prices on the Jeep side. That said, that 304 could be a pretty good engine for some of the later small body cars, too.

that engine/tranny/tc bring back memories...my first car was a cj-7:thumb:

Okay lemme try, is the rear axle one piece shafts? You can tell cause the 2 peice will have a large nut on the end of it.

Not really worth much if its 2 piece shafts. Maybe 100 bucks, it its single piece shafts say 175 or so. Being out of a CJ7 it should be a wide track

Got receipts for the motor? Thats might be worth a bit. Not a ton but if you can prove its been rebuilt I would say its worth between 5 to 700. Might be a bit more. I know a couple guys around here who have payed 400 bucks for a used one.

The interior stuff not much heater core and fan and stuff like that maybe 50 bucks for all of it. That stuff doesn't cost much new

Gas tank is probably 50 or so they are cheap like blazer tanks. So a new one is only like a 120 bucks or so

Front axle got no clue, its a Dana 30 good for spare parts for someone I would say 150 or so.

Do you have front flares too or just rear. Once again those aren't worth a ton because they aren't to expensive and a ton of guys use TJ or YJ flares for a bit bigger wheel opening

Leaf springs I would say 50 bucks, I doubt you will get too much out of the shackles either

The transmission is junk unless you can find someone who wants to restore or just replace as cheap as possible.

The t case should be a Dana 300, I would try to get 300 out of that. Pretty desirable case. Might try for me. At least I am pretty sure its a 300.

Not really sure on the rest.

Hope that helps. You are in Cali so I might try to get higher prices for the t case and motor.

If the frame is in good shape you might be able to sell it too.
