Ok, I am looking for a new proportionsing valve for an 81 Jeep CJ5 ...it seems like they're all on back order, and even if they're in stock-they're like $400!!! Anyone know where i can get one, or know of a universal that will work for me?? Thanks

BTW....right now, there is ONE brake working. Somehow somethin is fubar, what i dunno what. Bled all the lines and the rear driverside locks and the rest roll.

Re: Jeep proportioning valve?

wow that is some bucks

the only thing i can think of is just to try the junk yards and any cj should do i have worked a lot with cj5 and cj7 as long as the jeep has disk and druns in the back - it should work

Re: Jeep proportioning valve?

aftermarket Brake stuff

I dunno if anyone here has done business with these folks, but they seem to have a ton of aftermarket/replacement brake parts. I figured i'd post it in case someone else is lookin'! (BTW, they have a lot of classic car stuff too!)
