Jeffs project

Brown wire goes directly to the back of the fuel gauge....that's the sender wire.

High beam indicator I thought was part of the flex circuit, but I'd have to look at a schematic again to be sure.

:usaflag:

Ok. thanks greg. It looks as if there is a male terminal right where the high beam indicator light is, but the wire that feeds it, seems to elude me? Could this stud just be a grounding stud, and the wiring for the light goes through the harness?

Figured it was time to add some more pictures. You will see the retrotek shifter, which seems to work awesome. I still have alot of wiring, and looms to build. Getting closer to that tax return, which will finish her off. Should be driving this spring!!:bow:

wow! My rig was originally orange and i never liked that color, but now im having second thoughts.
Looks fantastic.

Also. I did new body mounts and a bunch of other work where i removed the front clip. All i can say is have patience and a lot of time. Its trial and error. It was probably one of the most frustrating jobs ive done to my rig.

UPDATE: Kinda

A bit of an update. Windshield, body trim. Getting closer. Building brackets for the front seats, then to the exhaust shop, and finally a center console to build.

emblem is a billet from an 2005 tahoe. it actually fits perfect. the lights in the turn signal housings are actually driving lights, not the signals.

its awesome how your incorporating new school stuff with old school. the mirrors look great on there!

Its alive!! Its alive!!!!

Update: She is up and running. I forgot how much I love the sound of that big block. Next, to the exhaust shop, and then to build the center console, front end alignment, and the a bunch of fine tuning. As you can see I still need to get the hood to fit better, but at this point I am very excited to be so close!!:bow::bow::bow::bow:

Went to the exhaust shop today. Off to Schwabs for front end alignment, and finally the center console. Put the insurance on her today, so I may have to take a little drive after the alignment. Will have a bunch of final pictures. Thanks to all for the comments and help.

Looks really nice. And the orange is great. One thing I'd do is swap the rear seats to the other sides. The should belts should be on the outside of the rig.

I had no choice here. In order for the controls for the seat back to be accessible, I had to have the seats this way.
