jegs cage - can't figure it out

I picked up a kit today (from someone who gave up on it), no instructions of course. Went through jegs instruction manual and everything looks right, except I got another cross bar with bent ends. Could this be to tie the 2 rear points together? This was supposed to be for an 89 blazer, so it could be a bar just for the blazer application. Anyone put one of these in?

I did a search on the forums but didn't see a good pic of one installed. I understand that its a pretty generic kit, but its a good one to start off of.

How long is it? Could it be a seat belt bar for the front seats. It might make it hard to get into the back though.

That's what it is, just looks odd with the ends bent.

You sure it isn't a windshield bar that goes between the top of the A pillars near the roof?

Or a spreader over or under the dash?

I got the 10 point kit, it looks like with that one it comes with the seat belt bar, the 12 point kit comes with the additional dash bar.
