just to answer one of the questions the cages are listed under c10 because they normaly supply these to drag racers they have 4-12 point cages cuz drag racers often use fiberglass "race weight" bodys that are basicaly a shell with no floor or firewall and the 8 10 12 point cages go though firewalls and rear windows ect ect

i realize this isnt super important info but it was asked and i happen to know the answer

P.S. the differnce in 1/2 to 1 tons is nothing and the differnce between 2wd and 4wd is usualy a few inches shorter trans tunnel putting a 2wd body on a 4wd usualy requires changeing the tunnel or a 2" body lift

Okiemuddog, can you post a pic or pm me a pic of the distance from the cage to 'A' pillar, how much would the windshield give before hitting the cage? Enought to pound out and makeshift a windshield back in?
