Is it bad when your fixing your fathers mistakes? Whats funny is, now he wonders why he did electrical the way he did and is helping me.
I have had to undo many a sketchy jerry rig on my k5. The only one I have done and not fixed yet is the beautiful Keystone exhaust patch in my sig. Ripped the mount where it was welded to the tube and the whole pipe dropped about a foot and left a gaping whole, 3 keystone cans and some bailing wire later it was back together. Lasted the 3 days left in EJS, but I am looking forward to redoing the whole system this summer. The parts are already on my doorstep back home
ive got a few jerry-rigged things on my trucks, but its all for little things, nothing that would compromise safety

i was about to say...want find much jerry riggin here, we bout doin it right :-)
my neighbor just bought a 95 s-10, he thought someone had lowered the rear and wanted to know what i thought, he brought it by, both sides the main and 2nd leaf spring is broke right behind the perch and the rear section where broke had fouled out up against bottom of frame and clamp holding rear of pack together(kinda like what 1/4 or 1/8 elleptical..no spring behind perch)...he said,..maybe thats what i hear slappin...duh, it amazes me how little people know, still not sure what would've broke both springs like that?
