Yep, I just started fooling with that myself. Those "off the shelf" chips are a joke. Mostly just some timing and a bit more rich on the mix, that's it. To do a decent job you have to data log what your engine is seeing (WinALDL or the like) and then adjust for that specific engine. Even "identical" stock factory motors have different tunes to get anywhere near max performance, much less "this chip improves performance in 350 truck and car engines from 87-91" type stuff...
