I understand Suburbans had benches or buckets up front, and I’m thinking I’d be nice to do a bench in the Jimmy. Would a Suburban bench bolt into a Jimmy? Not really lacking for space, but it’d be nice to have the wife or the dog sit with me.

Suburban benches don’t fold / tilt forward, you’re going to want to use one from a regular cab truck.
It will after you fabricate new brackets. Trucks and Suburbans have a raised floor under the seat. Blazers have a flat floor.
